The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, has told the Governor of the State, Rochas Okorocha that no man can stop him from becoming Governor of the state come 2019.

He reassured Imo people that only God can stop him from becoming the next governor of the state.

Madumere who is aiming for Imo number one seat under the All Progressives Congress, APC, is facing a stiff challenge from Okorocha’s son-in-law and Chief of Staff, Uche Nwosu.

He spoke while addressing a section of leaders from the Local Government Areas in the state yesterday.

He said, “I will pursue my gubernatorial ambition to a logical conclusion. I am in the race to serve Imo people of Imo State.

“I have the requisite leadership qualities and vision to take the State to a greater height.”

Madumere said he is “a seasoned administrator with many years of experience in private and public sector”, adding that Imo people are highly enlightened and must be carried along in policy formulation and implementation.

The Deputy Governor said his betrayal from those he managed and nurtured to lime light in politics was like that of the Lord Jesus Christ.

He, however, vowed that no man born of a woman can stop his ambition.

“I rely not in any man no matter how highly placed. I have taken my destiny in my hands. I have God and the people of Imo State.

“God has always granted me the grace to carry on.

“I have no regret because it has made me even stronger in my bid to make the difference in changing the tide for the people.

“Any development that does not trickle down to the masses is a misplaced priority,” he added.

In any election, there are contenders and pretenders who cheer up various political parties with their antics and strategies, that’s the beauty of democracy.

Most times, the pretenders make the most and loudest noise to the advantage of the core contender. Money may be out of place but experience, credibility and exposure are vital ingredients to garnish political outing. Prior to the 2011 general election in Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere had remained an ardent supporter and promoter of Governor Okorocha and his visions long before some present sycophants came in to serve under the rescue mission government.

Eze Madumere as a strong ally of Governor Okorocha before his arrival to Douglas House showcased his political doggednes, prowess and sagacity towards ensuring that the present administration was installed in Imo State, but today, those who do not know how they were brought in are the ones shouting up and down against the Deputy Governor of Imo State just to curry favour from those concerned.

The Deputy Governor, Eze Madumere, as a no nonsense administrative czar has remained the best bride for every individuals in the state not minding their political affiliations, this is as a result of his unwavering and unlimited personal relationships with virtually every Imolites who care to lend him a helping ear to listen his good messages been spread across every divides in the three zones of the state.

A man after God’s own heart, a quintessential political magicians who goes hundred (100) steps ahead of his political arch-rival before they begin to wake up from slumber. A man whose humility has reshaped people’s mental dictators to decipher how good and adoring it appears to be gentle in mind but radically sagastic in nature.

One wonders why the condition of the state has become very bastardized, shaterred and rumpled. It is very obvious that since the Prince of Mbieri Ancient kingdom became angry over the inhuman treated meted out on him by people who should appreciate his human services, otherwise, the present issue rubbishing the state would have been corrected. As a conflict resolution expert, Eze Madumere would have used his wide spread contacts to nip all the ugly trend of image reduction in the bud, but now that the system has been truncated, who can bail the cat?

Madumere as a person ensured that all waring and opposing views against the rescue mission government were resolved. He has brought everyone together and made them to remain as an indivisible and indesoluble entity. Suffice to say that Eze Madumere is a unifying factor in areas the rescue government recorded successes. A typical example of his expertise in conflict resolution was the role he played in stopping what would have appeared as huge blood bath at Irete in Owerri West LGA.

It is easy to ignore politicians but it is very risky to abandon your second in command, because the world sees him or her as the backbone under which the activities of your works revolve. How could a wife ignore her husband and still wants to be pregnant? The summary means divorce. Eze Madumere has been ignored but he cannot be wished off with a wave of hand, after all his God created him without the consent of his enemies.

While extolling the strategic contributions of mothers in national development, the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has urged mothers to embrace God’s standards as a guide in all their undertakings.
The Deputy Governor made the call while making contributions to the sermon of the day delivered by Ven. Dr. Sunday Iherue with the theme; “Mothers are Home Builders”, in the Chapel of Praise, Church of Nigeria, Anglican communion, Lake Malinda, Achi-Mbieri, Mbaitoli local government area of Imo State.
The number two citizen who first showered encomium on his mother, Ugoeze Malinda Madumere, for her sacrifices in nurturing them into useful citizens to State and the nation at large described women as indispensable ally in national development.
He emphasized the the strategic place of mothers in the family, which is the bedrock of the society. He argued  that the ills or progress in any society is the reflection of the state of the families, adding that mothers by their roles remain very vital in building a better and progressive nation.
Recalling the recently celebrated “International Women’s Day”, he described women as great partners in progress having proved their mettle in every aspect of life and professionally, too. He however urged them never to lose sight of the God’s laid ordinances as to what he called critical roles of mothers.
“As we celebrate our mothers today, let us as their children and husband’s appreciate the sacrifices they had to make to ensure that we were nurtured into useful citizens. I want to particularly celebrate my mother for her care and nurture and of all the women here and everywhere in our world. Mothers place in nation building cannot be over emphasized. We as husbands are aware that they are the stabilisers and indispensable partners in the family and beyond. Recently, we celebrated International Women’s Day, the vex issue that has continued to dominate discuss is gender parity. While I make case for commiserate reward system and equal opportunities for women with their men counterpart in every sector in so far as they are as qualified as their men counterpart, what the problem is deviating from God’s standard who is never an author of confusion;” he enthused.
Earlier in his sermon, Ven.Iherue established the place of mothers at home, Communities and in the nation at large describing them as home builders and by extension, strategic nation builders, adding that their contributions in moulding the character and moral standing of the the future leaders cannot be over emphasized.
Reading from Proverbs 31: 30, and I Peter 3: 1 to 5, he reminded mothers that charm is deceitful and beauty is vain but a woman that fears the Lord shall be praised, thereby admonishing them to buy into God’s ordinance and become the expected adorning pillars in their homes and to their husband. Reeling out ten steps required  of a woman to becoming a great home builders are; trust worthiness, encouraging peace and progress at home, avoiding gossips and idleness, speaking with wisdom and avoiding idle talks among others.
He however stressed the need for wives or mothers to be submissive to their husbands as he encouraged men to love their wives in return just as Christ loves the church.
High point of the ceremony was the cutting of cake in marking the day with soul moving songs praising Christian  mothers.

Imo Indigenes in Diaspora, especially in the United Kingdom (UK), had resolved to support deputy governor, Prince Eze Madumere’s governorship ambition, describing him as the most qualified to succeed his boss, Governor Rochas Okorocha come 2019.

The group said this in a statement entitled “A clarion call on Prince Eze Madumere to contest for 2019 Imo State Governorship election signed by the President, Mr. Joseph Eke, General Secretary, Mr. Chukie Ajoku and the Publicity secretary, Mrs. Dean Akujobu.

By Chinonso Alozie, OWERRI

WEEKS after Governor Rochas Okorocha has endorsed his son-in-law Mr. Uche Nwosu to succeed him in 2019, his deputy, Prince Eze Madumere has gotten another endorsement from youths of the oil communities in the state to contest the governorship position.\

Madumere Vanguard gathered yesterday in Owerri that the latest in the series of endorsements for the deputy came from the Niger Delta Youths Forum led by one Chukwuemeka Nwaopara which took place at his country home, Achi Mbieri in Mbaitoli Local Government Area. My Wife is the pillar behind my strength -Madumere

A thousand miles they say; begins with a single step. Recall that Madumere recently tied the nut with his new hearthrob and as God will have it. They have turned a year old today (3rd March, 2018).

In his way of expressing his utmost joy in his wife here is what he has to say:

“There are not enough moments within one second to express how much I love my wife. She is my strength and I never want to lose her. I have searched all the dictionaries to find the meaning of life but I found nothing. But when we got married and I looked into her eyes and I found everything. All the words in the world could not even begin to describe how deeply I am in love with her. From the first moment I saw her until today, she has given me a never-ending heartbeat. She is not only my love, but my soul.

I feel so lucky to have this wonderful woman as a wife. A woman that has made my life complete, a prayerful, supportive, virtuous, multi-talented, hard-working, tolerant and patient woman and mother to the core. I could go on and on to describe this perfect gift from God to me but I lack words.

This day reminds me that God really loves me, for He gave me the most wonderful person and chose her to be my lifetime partner.I will always be grateful. It has been an honor to be her husband for one whole splendid year. I am so glad that we get to celebrate the start of a new year together.

Thank you honey, for putting up with all my faults and celebrating all my good qualities. I love you and I’ll love you even when we’re old and wrinkly. Happy anniversary!”

Aftermath of spiritual and physical consultations, patience and total commitment the humble and God fearing Prince Eze Madumere Mfr begins his journey of grace to take over power from His Boss Owelle Anayo Okorocha come 2019 gubernatorial race in Imo State.

The Loyal Prince who was not poor when he joined his Boss made the decision after 25 years of uninterrupted service and sacrifice to his Boss following the recent decision of His Boss to support his son in-law chief Uche Nwosu for Imo guber 2019.

The Governor few days ago stated that he loves three of his sons who are interested to succeed him Prince Eze Madumere, Uche Nwosu and Chike John Okafor but suggested that Uche goes for Governor, Madumere for Owerri zone senate and Chike to go back to federal house of representatives.

Madumere rejected his Boss suggestion based on the biasness and yardstick of his decision and the conviction of his expectations on the journey of grace.

The journey of grace made David to win Gloiath in the war Gloiath made mouth with intimidation.

The journey of grace consoled Hannah when Pelinah cajoled and insulted her.

The journey of grace made David King of Israel when men and humans never believed.

The journey of grace made Modecaiah king when his Boss wanted him dead.

The journey of grace made Joseph the Prime Minister when his brothers wished him death.

The journey of grace made Job to reject the devilish advice of his wife to course God.

Grace does not count if you have money or not.

Grace does not consider how many people that have endorsed you.

Grace does not look at the authorities that are behind you.

Grace can collapse the entire city to favour someone.

Madumere is a carrier of God’s grace do not stand on his way because God is involved.

It was jubilation galore today as APC executives from all the wards in Imo converged at the Senator Araraume Destiny office on Onitsha road to celebrate the decision of the NEC of the Party elongating their tenure till June 2019.

It was a period of songs and dance in thanksgiving to God. The Executives who expressed gratitude to the National Executive Council and especially Senator Araraume for standing by them.

One of the Ward Chairmen pointed out that they have been liberated and will surely pay back Rochas in his own coin.

They urged other ward executives who are still under the deceitful spell of Rochas to use their tongue to count their teeth.

Imo state deputy governor Eze Madumere has reportedly rejected his principal, Governor Rochas Okorocha’s offer to contest for the Imo east senatorial election in 2019. The Nation reports that Governor Okorocha asked his deputy to contest for Senate instead of the governorship election to pave way for the Chief of Staff and his son in-law, Uche Nwosu, who he has endorsed as his successor. It was learnt that Madumere rejected

the the governor’s offer because the Owerri zone where he is has not produced a governor since the return of democracy in 1999.

The deputy governor, however, insisted that he has made up his mind to contest for the office of the governor in 2019. He made this known in a statement signed by his chief press secretary Uche Onwuchekwa, he has chosen his path towards realizing “God’s given vision to better the lot of Imolites”, adding that his fate “is in no man’s hands.

Describing the Okorocha’s offer as an act of betrayal, the deputy governor, argued that ”IfJesus Christ could be ill-treated by those he called his friends and was later betrayed by Judas, how much more a mere mortal like me.” He said that he has been “molested, betrayed and insulted” by those he nurtured to “become relevant in life

– set to declare ambition

Contrary to the Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha’s call on his Deputy to vie for Imo east senatorial seat, Madumere may have made up his mind to contest the governorship of Imo State.

Addressing the congregation at his country home, Achi-Mbieri, Mbaitoli local government area of Imo State, last Sunday, on the importance of lent in the life of Christians especially as it concerns the agony and betrayals the Lord Jesus Christ before paying the ultimate sacrifice for redemption of man against eternal destruction.

Prince Madumere in an emotion laden admonition said that if Jesus Christ could be ill-treated by those he called his friends and was later betrayed by Judas, how much more a mere mortal like himself.

He emphatically disclosed his experience agony, betrayals, insults and molestation from those he has shown love including those he nurtured to become relevant in life.

He therefore submitted that, like the Lord Jesus Christ, he has chosen his path towards realizing God’s given vision to better the lots of Imolites. He explained that his fate is in no man’s hand.

Meanwhile, responding to the issue of whether Prince Madumere would be vying for the senate seat of Owerri zone going by Governor’s address on those that would join him in the Senate, the Chief Press Secretary denied knowing about the said address. He however revealed that senate can never be an option for his boss.

His words: “I have just heard this from you over our Governor’s pronouncement of those he wishes to join him in the Senate. I will surely verify this. From the little I know, I do not think Senate is an option. However, I know that in no distant time, political ambition of our respected, revered, competent and visionary Deputy Governor will be made known to the public. Until them, I implore to pray for our Governor, his deputy and other leaders for God’s guidance and wisdom.”

Meanwhile, calls on Prince Madumere to join the governorship race has continued to reverberate Imo airspace with groups and individuals singling him out as the most qualified for the plum job in government house. They adduce reasons of experience, humility, administrative prowess and competence, adding that his emergence will solve the problem of experimenting governor.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on the 27th February, 2018 held its national caucus meeting and the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.

The National Executive Council meeting of APC was full of embarrassment and national disgrace as Governor of Imo State Rochas Okorocha disrespectful dragged the Microphone from the hand of APC National Chairman calling for the immediate dissolution of the Party Executives and cancellation of the Extension of the Party. Governor Rochas Okorocha also submitted the new names of IMO state Party Executives removing the name of the APC Party Chairman of Imo State Chief Hilary Eke.

The NEC members who finally voted for the Extension of the Executives were 107 out of which 103 voted in favor of the Extension while 4 voted against…

Exposed: Why Okorocha is Against Deputy, Madumere

[UNSET]Fresh facts have continued to emerge why the governor of Imo State Owelle Rochas Okorocha is not disposed to handing over power to his Deputy, Prince Eze Madumere in 2019.

Madumere has been enjoying rosy relationship with Okorocha who can be said to be his political godfather, mentor and great benefactor of over 20 years until recently when the issue of who succeeds the governor heightened the stage in Imo State.

Two successive events in the State during the week show that all is not well between the two soulmates signalling that Okorocha may not anoint Madumere as successor.

Apart from the reported plot to remove the Deputy Governor through impeachment, which the State government has laboured to rubbish and declare a ruse, Monday’s clash between the supporters of Madumere, and Okorocha’s Chief of Staff at Nwaoriebu, the headquarters of Mbaitoli LGA, signaled that the end is near in the relationship between Okorocha and Madumere.

Trumpeta gathered that it didn’t come as a surprise development to members of the governor’s political camp in APC that Madumere is not within the searchlight of his principal despite years of political cohabitation. From Okorocha’s days as Red Cross boss and before he became governor, Madumere from Mbieri in Mbaitoli had performed as the Chief of Staff and even merited the position in 2011 when the governor came on board before he was elevated to Deputy Governor at the sack of Jude Agbaso and re-election in 2015.

Events have also shown that it was a calculated attempt not to carefully put Madumere on the map of possible successors. This newspaper was reliably informed that the first tactics used to knock him out of relevance was to starve the Deputy Governor’s office the required funds to operate. This tactics reliable sources revealed, was to downsize the financial strength of Madumere thereby crippling his reach-out.

This system was applied after a similar approach was used to cow the growing influence of Chief Jude Ejiogu, the immediate past Secretary to the State government. Because the SGI office offered Ejiogu political muscle and vintage platform to seek the desire to become governor in 2019, Okorocha pulled a fast one at the early stages by removing him unannounced.

Since there are constitutional requirements that must lead to the exit of a Deputy Governor, Trumpeta was told that the governor had to relax on the impeachment of Madumere until now the tensed situation for 2019 has heightened. This newspaper learnt that before the exit of Agbaso, the imprests to run the office of the Deputy Governor ranges from N25 to N30 Million monthly before it was drastically reduced when Madumere came to N5m monthly, and it was not even regular. The action seriously affected the output of the Deputy Governor as the support staff in the office were sacked because of paucity of finance to pay them monthly.

The lack of adequate finance was also said to have encumbered the altruistic gestures of the Deputy Governor as against the philanthropic displays of the Chief of Staff Uche Nwosu, who had humongous funds at his wish and disposal.

It was also gathered that what led to starving of the Deputy Governor’s office of funds was the issue of the spacious Lake Malinda, the country home of Madumere at Achi Mbieri. Stories have it that after visiting the place, the governor may have expressed reservation about the size of land which aroused envy. A visit to the place showed that the expanse land has only a chapel and a building where he resides.

Further revelations have it that apart from not having the opportunity to be assigned a Ministry to supervise unlike in the past and the practice in some states, Madumere has not acted effectively as acting Governor anytime  the Okorocha is on vacation or goes to leave.

It has been a history in the State from the times of Udenwa and Ohakim to allocate Ministries to deputies to supervise until the regime of Okorocha where it appears to have stopped with only MDGs and miniature offices assigned to the Deputy Governor.

Another aspect that suggest that Madumere was not Okorocha’s desire was when he started with the issue of age limit of 50years, which many said was a concept to tactically knock out the Deputy Governor from Okorocha choice list of successors. Madumere is above fifty years old unlike the Chief of Staff who is under 50; the age bracket Okorocha advocates for his successor.

The last but not the least in the said premeditated plot to keep off Madumere was the style of always asking him to attend and represent the governor in some functions while the Chief of Staff is prominent in crucial government functions and State activities in Imo.

Sources further disclosed that the recent solidarity march embarked in support of the Deputy Governor almost earned him a reprimand from high quarters who allege that it has capacity to heat up the polity. The counter reaction, according the source is the reported attempt to impeach the Deputy Governor and finally push him out from the governorship contest in 2019 election.

Trumpeta learnt that it is not yet uhuru for Madumere, as there are still plots in the offing to knock him out of the Governorship race.

As the events in Imo state continue to take shape and unfold in very interesting colors, shapes and sizes day after day, I begin to see reasons with Williams Shakespeare’s quote which says: “Hell is empty and all the devils are here…Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.”

I have watched with keen interest the unveiling story of Okorocha’s plot to impeach his 25year old friend, brother, loyalist and deputy, Eze Madumere in order to fulfill his selfish dreams of installing his son in-law, Uche Nwosu. I also went further to digest his interesting press release refuting the said impeachment rumor but still containing very clear revelations of his true intentions. And today his recent act of betrayal which has drove a nail into the heart of his deputy and lead him to severe a 25year old tie with his boss, is something imolites should not ignore.

It is very clear that Okorocha is willing to break every democratic rule in order to avoid accountability and so he thinks that Uche Nwosu is going to be his Savior. My joy remains the fact that violent delights indeed have violent ends and the seed sown today will most definitely be reaped tomorrow.

There is absolutely no need for Madumere to bother about this betrayal because in the end this unfolding story of Rochas Okorocha and Uche Nwosu will most definitely end up like that of the rat in the villa and the snake at jamb office.

A snake can never produce a sheep. So Rochas shouldn’t express much surprise when the result of his actions and inactions begin to slap him in the face in no distant time.

It hurts me so much to see that the son in-law you for whom you betrayed your loyalist will be your doom tomorrow.

Okorocha’s love for money and power has turned him into a monster whose job is to drive nails into the hearts of those who love him as long as he doesn’t get hurt or loose his money in the process but God has better plans for you.

Imo can only be rescued in 2019 so Imolites should take a stand today for a better tomorrow!

The political matrimony between Prince Eze Madumere and his boss started long ago. Eze Madumere may have suffered many things in the hands of Rochas Okorocha even before becoming the Deputy Governor of Imo State. They knew each other before now and better than i do. Therefore, I am not competent to talk about their private relationship. Prince Eze Madumere is a man that went to the ‘prison’ in 2011 because of his boss Mr. Rochas Okorocha. I can’t come in between them; but facts are there to expose how Owelle has been unfair with the Deputy Governor of Imo State.

During the 1998 gubernatorial elections in Nigeria, Madumere went back to Nigeria and served as director for Women and Youth Mobilization for Owelle Rochas Okorocha ‘s campaign in Imo State under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He also served as chief strategist on media and logistics for Okorocha’s presidential bid under the ANPP in 2002–2003. He once worked in the presidency as the chief of staff to the presidential adviser on inter-party relations. In December 3, 2005, he ran for the Senate seat in Imo East Senatorial District (Owerri Zone) after it was declared vacant following the death of Senator Amah Iwuagwu. After the 2011 election, where Okorocha emerged victorious as the Governor of Imo State , Prince Ezeakonobi Madumere (MFR) was appointed the chief of staff to the Governor of Imo State after went to Prison for Rochas, where he exhibited obstinate drive for excellence. He became deputy governor on 30 March 2013 after the Impeachment of Sir Jude Agbaso as the Deputy Governor of Imo State.

As the Deputy Governor of Imo State, his accomplishments are numerous especially in the area of Security, dispute and crisis management and resolution. His historic resolutions of disputes between host communities and oil exploration firms in the oil communities of Imo State are legendary. He has left a lasting legacy of harmonious relationship between the communities and their business guests. Among some of the cases were Orsu Obodo community vs Addax Oil, Walter Smith Oil Exploration Vs Awarra Community, oil spillage crises between AGIP and Ohaji Egbema local government youths. He also brokered peace between Irete Community and Nigeria bottling company limited. Statutorily, as the Chairman of Imo State Boundary Commission, his knack for excellence in all facets of human endeavour also played out as he liaised with the former Deputy Governor of Abia State to nip in the bud what would have been a bloody skirmish bet seen Ihitte-Uboma and a community in Abia State. With an understanding between him and his Anambra State Deputy Governor colleague, effort is being made to resolve all boundary issues between Imo State and Anambra State as the affected communities have complied to conduct themselves in a peaceful manner.

Prince Ezeakonobi Madumere at present is handling majorly world Bank and International agencies in relation to development of the core sectors of Imo State.

Great questions I have continued to ask myself are, can Rochas Okorocha reward Prince Eze Madumere in a manner that commensurate with the service hitherto rendered? Is Prince Eze Madumere not qualified to succeed Gov. Rochas? Is it not possible that the good qualities of Prince Eze Madumere may have been contaminated by his association with Gov. Rochas? Is Chief Rochas afraid that Prince Eze Madumere will imprison him if he succeeds him? Is Prince Eze Madumere not privy to all the alleged looting and land grabbing going on in the Rescue Mission of Rochas Okorocha? If Prince Eze Madumere becomes a governor tomorrow, can he muster courage to probe his boss?

Imo Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere severes ties with Okorocha, throws away muffler

… Ignores the Governor’s directive for him to support Uche Nwosu for 2019 Imo Governorship and go for Owerri Senatorial Position.

To express his anger and disappointment, the Mbaitoli born Deputy Governor of Imo State and former Chief of Staff to Governor Rochas Okorocha has thrown away a symbol of loyal and identity symbolizing his bond and believe in anything Okorocha.

Madumere in the next 48hrs will be addressing the press and will use the opportunity to declare his intention to contest for Imo governorship election come 2019,as against the directive of Governor Rochas Okorocha for him to support his Son-in-law, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu.

Okorocha’s decade long friend , political and business associate, Madumere was reported to have told the Governor “you can support your Son-in-law, but for me, am in the race of governorship come 2019”.

Madumere who was imprisoned because of Okorocha and has maintained unquestionable loyalty to his Boss, has in the past three days removed the muffler trademark he is known for, a sign that all is not well.
