On a sad note, one of my aides, my Director of Protocol, Kingsley Duru lost his lovely mother recently. Unfortunately and due to unforeseen circumstances, I could not attend her funeral. On return I rode straight to Uwuowa, their country home to share in the pain with them. Join me in prayers that God grants them fortitude to bear the loss.

What is death by the way? Are you afraid of it? I believe that death as a leveler should as a matter of fact remind us that everything in this world is vanity. It should serve as a reminder that whatever we are is only by His grace and that we shall someday answer the same call, leaving everything we may have boasted of and return to our Creator. Our legacies and impacts would be the only thing left in our memories. What would you be remembered for? Is it for oppressing, causing and inflicting pains on your fellow humans because of the opportunity you have. I believe nothing is permanent. Look at those who have gone the way of all mortals, some of them are cursed even in death. They are remembered for all the wrong reasons. How would you want to be remembered after you are gone? It is up to us especially those of us who claim to be leaders? What is valid is that it shall surely come when it shall come. May God guide us to do His will in Jesus name I pray… Amen!
